Jack Frost

When I was a child, I was never one for long walks. As someone who much preferred reading books and sketching to venturing outside, I never truly appreciated how much better a blast of fresh air can make you feel. The older I get, the more I am growing to love long walks in beautiful places. This afternoon, I took a walk down to some woods around where I work to see the snow. Armed with my camera, I captured a few snaps. I especially love the way that snow makes the bare trees look- the contrast is so striking. In other news, I'm off to New York with Liam next week. I can't wait to experience the American way of life! More importantly, I'm looking forward to a good cup of coffee and a gaze at the city skyline.
